Cannabis 4 Cause

Cannabis 4 Cause gives medical grade cannabis oil to cancer patients in need, at no cost. They subsidize their give by selling the best cannabis infused chocolate bar on the market. For every bar sold, C4C gives a dose of medical cannabis oil to a patient in need.

The C4C chocolate bar project was a very different approach than the competitor Cannabis sets currently in market. “Alice in Wonderland” the customer said.

Logo

Purple Line Media started with the logo. We wanted to give it a wax seal look. The repitition of the double C’s creates a memorable lockup.

Packaging

Purple Line Media approached this project with Alice in Wonderland in mind but we didn’t want to go “kid friendly”. We started this project researching apothecary packaging and label design. We did a store audit at Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s to study the adult chocolate bar segment. We solved the design with a custom natural uncoated paper package structure. We designed apothecary nature graphics and vintage typography and type treatments to achieve a very adult, mature packaging design system that still has a fun factor to it. We incorporated anthropomorphism to invoke the whimsical feel of Alice and Wonderland

Chocolate Bar

Purple Line Media also designed a custom mold for the chocolate bar itself. The quote by Mother Theresa ties in the charitable promise of C4C but the quote was done in a rough storybook font to tie back in the feel of the packaging.
